cherry tomato plants

E-mail Print PDF

I had a wonderful meal the other night.  Jamie Oliver is one of my favourite cooks. his passion for food and cooking is amazing, his sense of getting his hands dirty and in the food to mix and taste reminds me of my gardening.  I just love to get my hands dirty so that I can smell the dirt and feel the texture si extremely important.  His playful attitude to add exrta suace, spices or herbs is very similar to gardening.  Soils, gardens and plants often need a little something to geive them a lift.

His meal the other night was simple the combinations of lamb, rosemary and cherry tomatoes salt pepper and good quality olive oil was a winner.  Baked.... cherry tomatoes are so so tasty baked.

Better still you can grow  rosemary very easily, there is nothing better when you know you can pick fresh herbs straight from your garden.  You can plant them now.  Tomatoes grow in the warmer months but you can get your hands dirty now and plant seeds of your favourites.
